ARR Fan Sites:

• AlaskaRails… This is the definitive source of information on the Alaska Railroad as well as a excellent modeling resource.
• CSWRR… This Web Page is about the HO Scale Consolidated South Western Railroad and it's friends in Alaska. Another great resource.
• TVMRR… The Tanana Valley Model Railroad Club operates a HO scale Alaska model railroad display in the Fairbanks Alaska Railroad depot.
• Alaska Live Steamers… Alaska Live Steamers is a 501C-3 nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to the preservation and education of railroad history. They are located in Wasilla Alaska.

Full Scale ARR:

• Alaska Railroad… This is the home website of the Alaska Railroad.
• ARR Gift Shop… This is the Alaska Railroad's Gift Shop. Here you can buy ARR related gifts and souvenirs. They also have a limited selection of model trains in O, HO and N scale.     
• MATI… Museum of Alaska Transportation and Industry. MATI is a home to the transportation and industrial remnants and to tell the stories of the people and the machines that opened Alaska to exploration and growth.
• 557 Restoration… Dedicated to the restoration to operation of ex-Alaska Railroad steam locomotive #557.

Model Resources:

  Here is a list of Hobby venders that sell scale model trains. There is no one source of model trains nor can I post every link. The links here are those that do have or did carry ARR model trains. Venders often discontinue production of models or they reproduce or introduce new models. You may need to check with these venders regularly to find the latest releases.
